Controversy Over Theta Healing Spurs Interest in the Alternative Therapy
Despite, negative coverage by the BBC this summer, interest in learning more about Theta Healing, a meditative therapy meant to augment medical treatment, is growing. Los Angeles based Theta Healing with Karen Abrams offers classes to the curious.
LOS ANGELES, CA, October 12, 2011 /California PR News/ -- Theta Healing, a meditation method practiced to augment mental and physical health by complementing traditional medicine and therapies, has received some negative press in a summertime BBC story. But most who have first hand experience with this therapy find that it can have profound positive impact on their lives. The debate has ignited interest in this unique alternative therapy.
To that end, Theta Healing with Karen Abrams is offering new classes in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles for those seeking to learn more and experience Theta Healing for themselves.
Classes will be held through November at a private residence in the San Fernando Valley.
The Basic Theta Healing class is a 3-day beginning course that emphasizes what Theta Healing is, how it works, and how to practice it on oneself and others. This class will be held November 11-13, 10:30 am-5:30pm.
The Advanced Theta Healing Class, also a 3-day course, is a more advanced program to expand theta skills even further. It will be held November 18-20, 10:30 am-5:30 pm at the same location.
Master Theta Healers Karen Abrams and Karen Ross will teach all classes.
