Dawna Lee Heising of Eye on Entertainment Interviews Multi-talented Actress/Producer Kari Nissena
Nissena Is the Producer and Star of the New Series HOLLYWOOD INC.
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA, October 09, 2011 /California PR News/ -- Dawna Lee Heising of Eye on Entertainment interviewed Kari Nissena at the Time Warner Cable studio in Costa Mesa, CA. Nissena has been an actress since the age of five years old and has had extensive training and experience in film, television, radio, theatre, commercials and voiceover work. She is a graduate of The American Musical & Dramatic Academy in NYC.
With over 100 plays and around 80 films to her name, Nissena's credits include "Dear Lemon Lima", "Least Among Saints", and "Humanity's End". She both produced and starred in the award winning films Cats on a Plane, and Silver Patriot, among others. Nissena won the Best Actress award for her lead role in "Callous" at the Oceanside International Film Festival. "Callous" also gained nominations, and won many other awards including Best Director (Joey Lanai) and four Best Feature Awards on the film festival circuit.
Nissena is a certified ballroom instructor in swing, foxtrot, salsa, waltz, tango, rumba, cha-cha, hustle, meringue and mambo. She is trained in stage combat, including the rapier, dagger and fencing.
