SAN FRANCISCO, CA, October 01, 2011 /California PR News/ -- San Francisco Bay Area swing revival legends Lee Presson and the Nails will be joining new revival swingabilly band Lost Dog Found and the sultry electro swing stylings of the Black Kat Kabaret at Cafe Du Nord on October 6th. New school meets old school at this hot swing and burlesque revue! Tickets are $12. For more ticket info please visit Cafe Du Nord online

Starting off the show will be swing dance lessons by Swing U's very own Burnie Gipson at 8 PM. These lessons are friendly to all levels of dancers and are a great way to warm up to the hot swing action to come.

New school swing revivalists Lost Dog Found will take the stage at 9 PM with their own brand of fiery swing/rock. Featuring two lead singers and a horn section, Lost Dog Found has been taking over the bay area by storm by taking the elements of jump blues, swing, and rockabilly, and created a thumping, swinging sound distinctly their own.

The Black Kat Kabaret will loosen up the mood a bit with a sultry set of burlesque numbers set to the electro swing stylings of DJ Cyril Noir. The perfect compliment to all of the hot swing action taking place at this revue.

Headlining are Bay Area Swing Legends Lee Presson and the Nails, making their first return to Cafe Du Nord in over a decade. Lee brings his own style of gothic "Swing from Hell" to the genre that is a must see.

Lost Dog Found is an eight piece mini-big band that has taken the elements of jump blues, swing, and rockabilly, and created a thumping, swinging sound distinctly their own.
The idea behind the band was to modernize the sound of swing beyond the niche market that the genre currently finds itself. Inspired both by his love for the music of the 30's-50's, and by the swing revival bands of the 90's, band leader Stevie Mac focused on creating a modern take that both swing dancers and the average set of ears would become fans of. Lost Dog Found's set is blistering with all original tunes, featuring saucy lyrics, hot backbeats, swinging horn lines, thumping bass, and fiery guitar licks. The band features two lead singers and a five piece horn section. www.lostdogfound.com
