Petco and Natural Balance Host National Pet Adoption Weekend
December 3 & 4 Events to Help Shelter Dogs and Cats Find Loving Homes
SAN DIEGO, CA, December 04, 2011 /California PR News/ -- WHAT: With 5-7 million companion animals entering shelters every year, Petco is helping to raise awareness for this issue during their monthly National Adoption Weekend. Every Petco store will host pet adoption events the weekend of December 3, 2011. Natural Balance is sponsoring the weekend by providing a coupon for one free small bag of dog or cat food (6 lbs or smaller) or dog food roll (4 lbs or smaller) to adopting pet parents.
The events will provide animal lovers across the nation with the chance to meet many adoptable pets, learn about local animal adoption groups and inquire about the best ways to care for a new pet. Plus, adopters can find out about Petco's Think Adoption First Care and Savings program, which provides all pet parents who adopt additional savings on food and supplies for their new pet.
WHEN: Saturday and Sunday, December 3-4, 2011
9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
